Another print from the P22 Design Research Laboratory. The P22DRL is an archive of tens of thousands of wood advertising blocks originally used by Pollack Printing of Buffalo NY for department store posters in the mid 20th Century.

This print by Richard Kegler features an arrangement of 8 different circular wood blocks arranged concentrically and printed in yellow, cyan, magenta, hunter, blue, orange, red, and gold.

Using the blocks unaltered from their original state, they become studies in pure color with Pop Art overtones.
