Printers Fleurons
¶ PRINTERS FLEURONS are very powerful typographical tools. They are composed of small units with the ability to produce borders or very complex ornamental arrangements.
Lanston will offer extensive historical material including typographical advice on the use of Granjon ornaments in concert with other fleurons and borders. Gerald Giampa of the Lanston Type Library will be the 'conductor of the fleuron symphony'.
Historically these particular ornaments have often been referred to as Arabesque Ornaments.
