Intro to the Platen Press

Date/Time: 2 eves: Thursdays, October 29th & Nov 5th (6–9pm)
Cost: $60 ($48 members) + $10 materials fee
Description: This two-day workshop will introduce prospective printers to the world of letterpress, providing a broad overview of presses, prices, and availability, and answering questions about the challenges of finding equipment and getting started. After a print shop walk-through, registrants will set and print calling cards on a tabletop platen press, the most common press for first-time printers.
