Digital Woodtype!
Award winning Art Director/designer John Housley began collecting
woodtype in 1970. He has selected four complete alphabets,
numbers, and a few extras from his collection of rare printing
blocks to photograph for this CD-ROM. The pictures splendidly
capture the antique wood grain, the traces of old ink,
and the aged patina that gives woodtype its warm rich character.

Each block has been painstakingly silhouetted
for easy typesetting in design possibilities such as logos,
headlines, initial caps and backgrounds. The images are meticulously
detailed at high resolution suitable for 200lpi CMYK printing
at sizes up to 5" in height. They can be easily downsized
for web use or other RGB applications. |
Each image comes in Tiff format for both Macintosh
and Windows on one CD-ROM. The collection is $99.95
for unrestricted royalty-free usage in print or online.
