Four New IHOF Designs

P22 Bifur
Bifur was originally designed by poster artist A.M. Cassandre in 1929 as a single font and also as a two-part, two-color font. The P22/IHOF version adds a lower case while keeping the upper case and all original characters true to the original design. The six-font set allows for a range of decorative uses.

P22 Mexican Relics
Mexican Relics is a collection of over 100 dingbats in font format based on images found on a variety of clay stamps primarily from pre-Columbian Mexico. This font brings ancient artwork featuring fantastic animals and geometric shapes into the computer age.

P22 Durer Caps
Durer Caps is four fonts in one. Based on master artist Albrecht Durer's 1525 geometric construction of Roman capitals, this font features A to Z caps only. But there are three variations included: 1) filled; 2) unfilled; and 3) letters only. The last two feature a unique two-color overlay option.

P22 Sniplash
Sniplash is a lively font inspired by cartoons and comics of the 1960s and '70s. Curly lines, irregular weights, and a fun attitude make this font excellent for parties, retro packaging or any number of uses where you want a spontaneous and not-so-serious effect.

For September 2004

Two New Font Sets

As autumn approaches, we take refuge in introspection, warm sweaters, and of course... fonts. P22 type foundry responds to the season's requirements by presenting two new font sets.

One of our new font sets is titled, appropriately enough, Autumn. P22 Stanyan Autumn is a set of three fonts based upon a casual hand lettering text created for the deluxe 1969 edition of "...and autumn came" by Rod McKuen. 62 extras in this font include images of autumn leaves, snippets of pastoral scenes, and various McKuen-related icons.

The other new font set is called Ed Rogers. Ed Rogers (1925-2002) was an unlikely and unintentional art figure. His art career began in 1981 when he met David Greenberger, the creator of The Duplex Planet, an ongoing project that introduces us to people who are old or in decline. As a resident of the Duplex Nursing home, Ed became a contributor to The Duplex Planet magazine. David included his drawings in many issues. Ed's dynamic lettering was a primary focus of nearly all his drawings. Later, Ed was commissioned to create lettering for R.E.M. as well as releases by other musicians. Since 1994, Ed's drawings have been featured in a traveling exhibition of outsider art. Ed Rogers' vibrant lettering is compelling in its characteristic inconsistency. The Ed Rogers font set features digitized versions of his lettering for truly unique design possibilities.

Both font sets are available for an introductory price of $23.95 each (regularly $29.95 each set) or get both sets for a special price of only $39.95! This introductory price good only until September 30, 2004.

A new font collection!

We're offering four new fonts from professional calligrapher Michael Clark:
Michael Clark crafted these fonts with unusual names using a pen and brush and then digitized them for exclusive release by P22's International House of Fonts®. These new designs give a nod toward classic 1940s signage but have a timeless appeal. They are perfectly suited for a wide variety of contemporary uses.

P22 Frenzy Setbrings two new design variations to the Frenzy font for added effects and design options.
P22 Pooper Black—Despite the odd name, it is a wonderful face for packaging, titling and short bursts of text.
P22 Shibumi is a brush-titling face that has an "Eastern" feel. Its sheer weight exudes authority while the Eastern influence and gentle curves lend a sense of grace. The Michael Clark Collection is offered for a special price of only $59.95

Two New Fonts!

P22 type foundry and International House of Fonts are pleased to introduce two new lively free-form fonts. These new font designs, licensed by two separate talented designers, bring a new twist to the IHOF family.

P22 Catalan is inspired by the influential Barcelona-area artists, Antonio Gaudi, Joán Miro, and Salvador Dali. The cognoscenti will also detect glimmers of the work of Jean Arp and Pablo Picasso. Surrealist shapes and motifs dance in this highly creative alphabet. This new design has a fresh immediacy that makes it perfect for festive occasions.

P22 Aglio is a font with an epicurean angle. Aglio is the Italian word for garlic and the font has an organic construction and bold brush strokes that evoke the spirit of this most assertive culinary favorite—tasty indeed!
