A tribute to the transition and evolution of type and typesetting
from handset to digital and the renaissance of hand printing
using digital methods as a tool. Meticulously digitized from
hand set sources including ATF and Lanston type. We performed
research in vintage printing shops to develop this indispensable
type setting tool. The digital fonts of Lanston Type Co. of
the late 1980s incorporated many unique features such as optical
adjustments for spacing materials and the TeleGlyph™
system which included proprietary naming codes. This special
font reintroduces the unique Lanston TeleGlyph™ system
for fixed spaces with additional accuracy as well as the full
compliment of unicode spacing.
